With a battery life of up to 60 hours, the P17R is a real stayer. Its main selling point is its sustainable battery technology, which is predominantly used in electric vehicles: the Safety Ytrion Cell. This is one of the safest accumulator cells on the market and with over 5,000 charge cycles without any significant capacity loss, it is also one of the most efficient. This quality extends to its solid casing – elegant black on the outside, gold contacts on the inside.
Casing Material – So that you can enjoy your light for a long time, every Ledlenser casing is made of high-quality metal. In this instance it’s aluminium to ensure especially light handling.
Smart Light Technology
This innovation turns a Ledlenser into your personal lighting tool: Using a micro-controller you can program your individual range of functions with different touch and switch combinations. That way you always have the optimal light function on hand.
The Emergency Light
This application turns your flashlight into an emergency light: When the power goes out and your Ledlenser is on its charging station, it turns on automatically. The light thus helps you to orient yourself, and for example, to find the fuse box.
Advanced Focus System
Galileo swore by the power of lenses, Newton swore by reflectors. We have simply combined the two technologies – but better than anyone before. The result: Our patented Advanced Focus System (AFS), which allows a seamless transition from homogeneous low beam to sharply focused high beam. The efficiency of the AFS even has experts enthralled.
Rapid Focus
When focusing or defocusing the handheld torch or head torch, the reflector lens moves in relation to the LED. To ensure this process is as quick and ergonomic as possible we developed Rapid Focus: a single-hand mechanism that allows the light beam to be adjusted as fast as lightning.
The Safety Ytrion Cell
This battery technology is predominantly found in electric vehicles. But it is also ideal for Ledlensers. A Safety Ytrion Cell is considerably lighter than a nickel-metal hydride battery, and can be charged up to five times faster than a lithium-ion battery. Plus it offers more than 5000 charge cycles with virtually zero capacity loss because of the “memory effect”.
Floating Charge System
Charge weightlessly: With the Floating Charge System which is suitable for wall installations, the light seems to float in its mount and can be put into action in just one hand movement. Apart from charging via a USB interface (5 volts, min. 500 mA required) on PCs, etc, the system can also be plugged into regular sockets or cigarette lighters in cars using adaptors.
